Ames Family Foundation Invests in Young Readers with Down Syndrome

The Ames Family Foundation has generously invested $25,000 in the development of a reading assessment tool for our students with Down syndrome.

We are thrilled to announce that the Ames Family Foundation has generously invested $25,000 in the development of a reading assessment tool for our students with Down syndrome.

This tool will measure individual student progress, and provide aggregate data for the reading program as a whole.

These performance measures will be used to isolate variables that contribute to optimal learning (ie. age, frequency, intensity), which will help DSRF further refine our reading program to achieve the greatest impact.

Please join us in thanking the Ames Family Foundation for making this exciting project possible!
