About Adrienne Sim
Adrienne Sim was born in Vancouver BC and started playing the piano at the age of five. She has been teaching for eight years and holds an ARCT diploma in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. In 2007, she completed her Bachelors in Music with a specialization in education from UBC with piano as her major instrument. Adrienne has conducted choirs and directed plays for various local churches in Coquitlam. She is currently completing her second degree in Music Therapy at Capilano College. Besides her enjoyment in teaching children and adults, she hopes to use music to open new doors for children with special needs in the near future.
About Tami Rizzo
Pianist and dedicated music educator Tami Rizzo, is an active member of the music community in her Vancouver hometown. While receiving a music degree from the University of British Columbia, she discovered a love for collaborating with fellow musicians. Attending a concert of tango music some years ago sparked an interest in Spanish and Latin American music and so the adventure began. The combination of these two interests led to the creation of the guitar/piano ensemble, Duo Vivanco. She strives to capture and share the spirit, beauty and freedom of musical expression within her private studio, the classroom and to all listening audiences.
Hosted by UBC & UBC School of Music with all proceeds donated to DSRF.
