Principal Registered Researchers have registered with the DSRF and use its facilities to conduct research on topics in the areas of cognitive and behavioral neuroscience, special populations, and brain development. Many of the research projects relate directly to Down Syndrome while others are aimed at expanding knowledge about mechanisms of behavior more generally. Appointments as Registered Principal Researcher are made by the Research Management Committee of the DSRF and are reviewed biannually.
