When you come in, one of us will place three
small coils on your head
. These are held in place with a bit of tape.
After the coils are securely in place, we will ask you to
sit with your head inside the MEG
, as shown in this picture. Naznin or one of her research assistants will be sitting in the room with you.
You then get to
look at a screen and press buttons
on a small box. There will be pictures on the screen and you will be given instructions about which button to press. While you do this, the MEG records your brain's electrical activity. You will not feel this happening.
