Corporate and Community Partnerships Officer

Maria has over 30 years of experience in the media industry including community relations, marketing, and strategic planning, and more than 12 years directly in corporate partnerships, fundraising and event management. As the Corporate and Community Partnerships Officer, she is responsible for developing and cultivating new fundraising opportunities, while maintaining meaningful and long lasting relations with existing sponsors and donors. Our partnerships are investments in the future of individuals with Down syndrome, which pay lifetime dividends to so many families, helping them on their journey with Down syndrome. In her off time, Maria is passionate about her culture and traditions, enjoys cooking, and loves to spend time with family and her three grandchildren.
