Lizzie Carolan’s Virtual Office

Lizzie (she/they) recently completed her Masters of Science at McGill University in Speech-Language Pathology. As part of her Masters thesis, she led a research project looking at the social skills of autistic and neurotypical young adults in an online setting. Lizzie worked as a research assistant at McGill for 4 years prior to her Masters, where she had the privilege of working with kids and adults with developmental disabilities. Lizzie believes it is important to work as a team with her clients and their families to set meaningful goals, and to ensure therapy is fun and engaging. She takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy, and she values staying up to date on research in order to best support her clients. Lizzie is thrilled to be a part of the DSRF team!
