There’s Ups and DOWNS – A Parental Wellness Series Session 6: Changing Unhelpful Thought Patterns

Many parents experience unhelpful patterns of thought that negatively impact their ability to parent effectively and confidently, and that may increase feelings of guilt or anxiety. Examples of unhelpful thoughts include, “I should be doing more for my son” or “It’s my fault she behaves so badly!” In this final session of the video series, parents will learn cognitive behaviour therapy techniques for encouraging more positive patterns of thought.

This video is funded in part by the Government of Canada.
