Campers will learn to prepare easy, cost-effective recipes using a microwave, all while building independence and confidence in the kitchen. With step-by-step visual supports and fun group activities, participants will develop essential life skills and take home their own recipe books to keep cooking at home. Let’s get cooking!

Summer Camp 2025 Week 4: Shake It Off – Swifties Camp!
Down Syndrome Resource Foundation 1409 Sperling Ave, Burnaby, BC, CanadaCalling all Swifties! Get ready for the ultimate Taylor Swift-inspired summer camp, where we’ll Shake It Off, make the whole place shimmer, and celebrate every Era in true Taylor fashion. Campers will craft friendship bracelets, paint, and design Swiftie-inspired art. Music lovers can take the stage for karaoke, explore songwriting and poetry, while bakers whip up Taylor’s famous cookies. The camp will wrap up with an unforgettable Swifties Eras Showcase, where campers will take the stage to perform their favourite Taylor-inspired songs, dances, or share their art, celebrating everything they’ve learned and loved throughout the week.
