Social Story: Going Back to School After COVID-19 Closures

On June 1, 2020, many children in British Columbia will return to school after months at home due to COVID-19 closures. For children with Down syndrome, this change in routine will be difficult. On top of that, "the new normal" at school will not be what they remember.

To help with this transition, DSRF Occupational Therapist Hina has created a social story about going back to school. Whether your child is returning in June or not till the fall, this story will help prepare them for the changes.
